As a first-generation daughter of Mexican immigrants, I was raised in a collectivist household that emphasized the importance of community, social consciousness and togetherness. Unfortunately, this perspective is often devalued in U.S. culture.

I believe that although no one can do our healing work for us, we can't navigate it alone. Community and positive social support is essential. As a result, we experience healing that comes with a sense of belonging and connection.

For almost 20 years, I’ve been committed to helping others struggling with grief, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, cultural identity, and self-esteem. I'm especially dedicated to prioritizing the mental health of our Latinx and BIPOC communities. I take pride in providing counseling services in Spanish to serve my community, and I'm deeply committed to nurturing the mental well-being of fellow Adult Children of Immigrants.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to use my cultural background, personal experience, and professional expertise to empower individuals in navigating their mental health. I'm also grateful and inspired by the opportunity to be a part of someone's healing journey, and I hope to be a part in yours as well.
